About Soulful Sage

I started making my own skincare because I could not find products that felt both thoughtfully formulated and truly effective.

About five years ago, as I approached 50, I began creating skincare for myself using ingredients I trusted and understood. As a high school chemistry teacher, I wanted more than products marketed as clean. I wanted freshly batched skincare made with cosmetic-grade active ingredients, nourishing organic botanical ingredients, and formulas designed to genuinely support the skin.

Over time, my daughter, Sage, became my first customer. For birthdays and holidays, she would always ask for more of whatever I had been making.

One year, I made extra face cream for her birthday. Friends and neighbors purchased the additional jars, loved the formula, and began asking what else I made. Before long, they wanted the serums, eye cream, facial oil, and complete skincare ritual.

That is how Soulful Sage began.

What started as skincare made for myself and my daughter has grown into a small-batch skincare and candle brand serving a community of customers who value intentional ingredients, fresh formulas, and products that feel simple, beautiful, and effective.
